Meeting the Past | Stephen Evangelista
Sunday Aug 13, 2023
Sunday Aug 13, 2023
On this Sunday we will explore the idea that the individuals who struggled and fought during the American Civil War were ordinary people who lived during an extraordinary time. This service will tell the story of Rhode Island’s Battery B and their heroic sacrifices both on and off the battlefield. Before they were soldiers, they were fathers, sons, brothers, and husbands. Together, we will enter the past, meet them face-to-face, and discover how their story is our story too.
