Join us for a special Unitarian Universalist Diwali holiday service, where we will celebrate the annual Festival of Lights. Diwali (also known as Deepavali, meaning “row of lights”) represents the triumph of light over darkness and the unity of diverse traditions. The musical ensemble TVAMEVA will be our guests, and will explore universal themes of hope, love and inner light through shared stories and music.

In our annual tradition, we honor the memories of loved ones who have died with poetry, special music, candle-lighting and the speaking of names. As is our tradition, we will light candles in memory of loved ones who have died. You are invited to bring photos or small memorial objects to place on the altar table.

As a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, we promise we will “cherish Earth and all beings by creating and nurturing relationships of care and respect.” In this service, Rev.
