Building Bridges, Not Barriers: The Covenant of Right Relations | Robin Hessey & Charles Scott

Successfully dealing with conflict is not easy, but the rewards can be tremendous. How do we do this in a safe way where we truly consider the impacts of our words and actions, listen to each other, mutually forgive—both ourselves and others—and try again? The Covenant of Right Relations is a set of promises to guide us on our journey of learning about ourselves and others to build bridges, not barriers to communication and beloved community.

An American Choral Songbook | Michael Adcock

Join the UUCC Chalice Choir for an annual spring Music Service that celebrates and traverses the last 150 years of great American choral literature. The choir will present both serious and playful works from a variety of wonderful choral traditions.

The Stories We Tell...Or Not | Ned Tillman

Ned Tillman will delve into thoughts on who we are and the stories we tell ourselves and others. What do these stories reveal about us? Is there a core reality that describes ourselves that doesn’t change? How do you know when to add on or take away some of the layers that we have accumulated over the years and drill down to our most human essence?

Why Are You You? | UUCC Youth Group

The teens of YRUU — UUCC’s youth group — explore the question embedded in their name: “Why are you you?” In asking themselves this question, they arrived at more questions: “Why do you do what you do?” and “Why do you believe what you believe?” and more. In this service, teens will share personal reflections in response to these questions and challenge all of us to plumb the depths of the unanswerable whys.
