We encouraged members of the UUCC community to join the 10 am livestream of Sunday Morning Worship from the UUA General Assembly.

After that service concluded, we opened our Zoom room for the sharing of Joys & Sorrows and to connect with one another.

Democracy as a Spiritual Practice | Rev. Paige Getty

On this Sunday when we anticipate our congregation’s Annual Meeting in the evening at 6:30 pm, Rev. Paige Getty and others celebrate the democracy that is UUCC – where every voice and every vote has its place, and where, as 19th century Unitarian minister Theodore Parker said, “Democracy means not ‘I am as good as you are,’ but ‘You are as good as I am.’”

Exploring the 8th Principle | Rev. Paige Getty

Rev. Paige Getty led a service about the proposed 8th Principle of Unitarian Universalism, offering some historical context and laying groundwork for UUCC’s June 7th annual meeting, during which the Membership will vote on whether to endorse the 8th UU Principle as a congregation.
